On 6th June 2020, the Young Society of Construction Law (YSCL) continued its #YSCLYouthEmpowerment series with a webinar titled “Technology in Construction” featuring the founder of Speedbrick Solutions, Pui Mun Teoh. The webinar was hosted by our Vice President, Nicholas Ian Jones and Committee Member Adly Zulkefly.
Pui Mun, a lawyer-turned-contractor, built a revolutionary construction software that has helped contractors avoid lengthy construction disputes and save millions.
The inspiration came when Pui Mun was a lawyer acting as a Site Supervisor in a contractor’s firm, where she identified common issues at construction sites. With her experience and dedication, she founded Speedbrick Solutions, a product that tackles major issues within project administration and simplifies cash flow tracking. The software’s interface is simple enough for Site Supervisors and Project Managers to use, and helpful for those in managerial positions to have a digital overview of various projects in order to make the necessary informed decisions.
Pui Mun concluded the webinar by advising us to take on new challenges, but instead of doing it alone, create a network of like-minded people who you can trust to help you achieve your goals.
