On 16th May 2020, the Young Society of Construction Law (YSCL) debuted its #YSCLclassroom series with a webinar on “Resolving Construction Disputes in the Time of COVID-19”, in collaboration with the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) and the Society of Construction Law Malaysia (SCL).
The webinar featured industry heavyweights; Dr Christopher To of Gilt Chambers, Swee Im Tan of 39 Essex Chambers, Ronan Collins of GAMUDA, Thayananthan Baskaran of Baskaran, Michelle Sunita Kummar of AIAC, and our very own president, Abang Mohd Iwawan.
Together, the panelists provided a holistic view on ADR in the construction industry, and shared tips and insights on managing construction disputes during the #COVID19 pandemic.
We are happy to report that the webinar garnered over 450 registrants from all around the world, and that we will be rolling out our next #YSCLclassroom webinar on construction adjudication this weekend!
